Materials Needed:
Natural scents
fresh and dried work well
Allspice
cinnamon sticks crushed
rosemary
lavender
Dried calendula blossoms
lemon balm leaves
chamomile flowers
pearly everlasting flowers
peppermint leaves
dried rose buds and petals
cloves
nutmeg
cardamom pods
bay leaves
anything else you can think of scent wise
netting
pipe cleaners
Directions:
1. Put each ingredient in a separate bowl so the children can explore each scent individually
2. Let children choose a piece of netting and put whichever scents they like on the netting.
3. Depending on age and capability of child let them secure or help them secure the netting with the pipe cleaner to make sure none of the ingredients fall out.
4. Enjoy the potpourri!
